Ted Plumis, Vice President of Channel, Business and Corporate Development at Exabeam
Plumis: Sweeping the warehouse floor at a beer distributor.
The VAR Guy says: That must have been torture! Working around all that beer and never getting a drink … we don't know how you held out!
Plumis: An Aston Martin DB9.
The VAR Guy says: It wouldn't be difficult to mistake you for England's favorite secret agent when driving down the road in one of these sleek beauties.
Plumis: Vancouver, BC.
The VAR Guy says: This is one vacation spot that The VAR Guy can definitely endorse, as he's been there himself recently. Vancouver is a beautiful city with good food and lots of friendly people!
Plumis: "The Boys in the Boat" by Daniel James Brown
The VAR Guy says: This inspirational true story of the Men's rowing team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics is a feel-good tale of dedication and hard work paying off. It's also a past favorite among other channel chiefs to boot.
Plumis: A TaylorMade R15 Driver
The VAR Guy says: With a club like that you'll be sinking holes in one from across the field!
Plumis: "The League."
The VAR Guy says: This goofy workplace comedy about a group of friends who play fantasy football is definitely one of the crazier shows on cable TV, but that's not to say it isn't one of the funniest as well.
Plumis: I wanted to be a professional baseball player.
The VAR Guy says: Getting paid millions to play America's favorite pastime in front of thousands of cheering fans? That sounds like a pretty darn good job to us.
Plumis: "Trading Places." It's Eddie Murphy at his best.
The VAR Guy says: This is a great movie, but for us nothing tops "The Nutty Professor." There are more belly-laughs per minute in that movie than in any other Eddie Murphy movie to date.
