MetraTech, a versatile biller out of the U.K. and Boston that handles billing for such diverse enterprises as Chicago’s O’Hare Airport and network operators in the mobile, satellite and IPTV sectors, has landed a billing contract with Intercall, one of the largest conferencing and collaboration services with more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

Using MetraNet, InterCall can customize customers’ conferencing experience by automatically creating or modifying offers, promotions and rate plans without the need for additional software development.

The partnership with MetraTech enables InterCall to introduce a new level of conferencing customization, said Mike Nessler, executive vice president, global operations at InterCall. “Our customers access multiple products and combine to use millions of conferencing minutes every month, so the flexibility and scalability of our billing solution becomes an important part of their experience with InterCall,” he said.

With its old systems, Intercall had to create custom software to invoice, track and settle fees for new products. With MetraNet, most changes require only simple software configuration.
