SilverSky Product Marketing Vice President Mike Flouton says the partnership enables his company to bundle and integrate Office 365.

Cloud-based security provider SilverSky this week won syndication partner status for Office 365, winning Microsoft (MSFT)'s approval to resell the full online office suite.

As an Office 365 syndication partner, SilverSky can resell Office 365 bundled and integrate the office suite with its own solutions, providing end-customers with a single bill for services.

SilverSky offers customers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that delivers cloud-based software and managed services, including managed email services, network security services and email protection services.

"We are thrilled to bring to market our leading suite of email protection services (available in industry-specific solution packages) fully integrated with Office 365 out of the box," SilverSky Product Marketing Vice President Mike Flouton told MSPmentor

The partnership with Microsoft isn't a new relationship. SilverSky has a "long heritage as a Microsoft partner," Flouton said.

SilverSky has offered cloud-based hosted Exchange, Sharepoint and Lync to its customers for years, adding that Office 365 will enhance SilverSky's portfolio, he said.

"Microsoft offers a world-class suite of productivity and collaboration software," Flouton said. "The combination of those solutions and our email protection services is a natural fit, an evident win/win situation not only for Microsoft and SilverSky, but more importantly for our customers."
