Virtualization data protection and cloud backup provider NAKIVO has added 500 VMware (VMW) solution providers spanning 70 countries to its NAKIVO Partner Program. The new partners, in countries ranging from Andorra to Zimbabwe, now are able to offer NAKIVO’s product portfolio to their SMB, enterprise and cloud service provider customers across the globe.
“We are pleased with the rapid growth of our channel, and appreciate the opportunity to work with technically advanced VMware solution providers … who trust NAKIVO to safeguard their customers’ data,” said Bruce Talley, CEO and co-founder of NAKIVO, in a statement. “[Having] 500 VMware solution providers across 70 countries is a significant milestone in the overall growth of our company.”
Currently, the NAKIVO Partner Program includes several features familiar to anyone with a knowledge of similar programs, including free training and certification programs for partners, deal registration programs and trade-in opportunities for customers. The partner program also provides resellers with free Not for Resale (NRF) licenses for NAKIVO Backup & Replication for demo purposes.
NAKIVO provides its partners with VMware VM backup and replication solutions to help SMBs and enterprises protect and recover virtual machine data either onsite, offsite or to the cloud, according to the company. Additionally, NAKIVO’s Backup & Replication solution is fully certified by VMware and offers data protection for virtual environments, including local and offsite VM backup and replication, among other features.
Earlier this month, the company released NAKIVO Backup & Replication v4.1, adding functionality and protection for VMware’s cloud-based services, including utilizing the software to provide VM backup as a service, replication as a service and disaster recovery as a service in their cloud environments.
