The three major carriers made the news last month with new or expanded products.

AT&T relented from removing a RingCentral-based UCaaS offering from its portfolio, Verizon rolled out a new cloud security solution, and Sprint partnered with multiple vendors to announce a new IoT platform. These new products show the growing convergence between IT and telecom.

Some of the largest IT companies were also on the move in September. Cisco, Microsoft and Dell EMC all all expanded their respective portfolios.

This month’s roundup is chock full of big vendors, and even some of the lesser-known companies on the list have been around for more than a decade.
