Numara Software, which develops service desk and help desk software, has launched a North American channel partner program. The effort includes a managed services provider (MSP) licensing option. The partner program debuts only a few days after Numara purchased FromDistance, a mobile device management (MDM) software provider. Here’s the background.Numara’s channel partner program is designed to work across multiple verticals — including healthcare, education, government, financial services and insurance. Numara is offering sales, integration and technical support through the program. Partners will also have access to Numara’s line of on-premise and cloud IT operations management solutions. Numara is offering North American channel partners a managed service provider licensing option as well.
True believers apparently include Flycast Partners, an IT service management (ITSM) provider and will leverage Numara for IT lifecycle management initiatives.
Separately, Numara during October released Track-It! version 10.5. It now allows customers to access help desk workloads from Apple iPhone and Android mobile devices.
