Okta just unveiled major updates and additions to its Partner Connect program to help partners run full sales cycles and solve complex customer challenges.

Patrick McCue, Okta’s senior vice president of worldwide partnerships, tells us the updates and additions adapt to trends taking place in cybersecurity.

“The cybersecurity landscape is continually evolving, but we’re doing a couple things to ensure our partners are prepared to address any issues,” he said. “First, marketing materials, accessible through Okta’s marketing hub, are always available with the latest information to address new use cases and partnerships. Second, we ensure that enablement is updated with new integrations, use cases, go-to-market motion and partnerships in order to give our partners a competitive advantage.”

The partner accreditation program now closely aligns with Okta’s internal teams training.

In addition, Okta technical training is now available at either no cost or reduced cost, contingent on partner tier. This training helps partners deploy Okta solutions at customer locations.

Advanced technical training also will allow partners to further differentiate themselves to win sales. Partner Connect also includes new technical programs, demand generation and marketing opportunities.

“The new program incorporates speed, flexibility and resources, all designed to make it easier for partners to get enhanced training and accreditations in order to propel partner sales growth,” McCue said.

“BeyondID is thrilled to partner with Okta to deliver the best cybersecurity innovations in the market to our joint customers,” said Arun Shrestha, BeyondID‘s CEO and co-founder. “Okta’s identity innovation center provides a committed platform for BeyondID and Okta to collaborate for providing innovative workforce and customer identity solutions.”
