Identity Defined Security solutions provider Ping Identity launched new enhancements to its PingPartner Network to give resellers, managed service providers (MSPs) and software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers new ways to grow their profits, including new partner levels and program-based benefits for members.
The company, which is know for its identity-agnostic platform, said it expects the market for Identity Access Management to reach 18.3 billion by 2019, according to IDC.
Chief among the program changes are the introduction of three individual programs, including ones specifically designed for channel partners, MSPs, SaaS providers and technology partners.
The Channel Program is broken down into the familiar Platinum, Gold and Referral programs, with each subsequent tier offering additional support depending on the partner’s level of dedication. Benefits include pre-sales training, web-based training, certifications and competitive margins.
MSPs are placed into a single-level program with benefits such as technical support training, pre-and post-sales training as well as resale and referral margins, according to the company. They also receive implementation training from Ping Identity as well as their own dedicated partner manager.
Finally, the Alliance Program is designed for SaaS providers and technology partners, with benefits based on an organization’s partner level. Advantages include web-based sales and pre-sales training, free implementation training for all products, referral margins, a dedicated account manager and more. Current Alliance partners include Netskope, ServiceNow, Box and Radiant Logic, among others.
All program members will have access to two new online communities and a community portal that provides partners and customers with direct access to Ping Products, tips and feedback. A developer portal featuring software development kits, documentation, code samples and OpenID connect also is available, according to the announcement.
“Our partners are a valuable extension of our own expertise, bringing their capabilities into play and bringing Ping in where they can because we have the most flexible, proven identity solution,” said Andre Durand, CEO at Ping Identity, in a statement. “Today’s announcement solidifies our partnership network as a more explicit program that benefits all of the organizations we work with and offers great opportunity for those we may partner with in the future.”
