Protegrity partners have a new partner program with access to more training and a new certification program.

The Protegrity Partner Network, the company’s first partner program, is for technology organizations, SIs and VARs. They can deliver Protegrity’s data-protection solutions to joint customers. The products and services support advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), and cloud initiatives.

“Throughout this past year, Protegrity has been rapidly evolving to keep pace with the data security needs of modern businesses,” he said. “During this journey, our partners have been instrumental in the success of our business. In return, we set out to develop a robust partner program to enable a more frictionless partner experience. Our goal was to tailor our program for the unique needs of our partners — with considerations for global and regional partners, as well as for technology partners and services partners. In addition, our services partners asked for more access to training. So we developed a new certification program targeting sales and solution architects. That enablement content is available on-demand via our new partner portal.”

Two Partner Types

The program consists of two partner types – service partners and technology partners – with tiered benefits for each.

Service partners, including SIs and VARs, can address customer demands by providing sales, technical sales, technical support, advisory and implementation services. Furthermore, they can refer new business or become eligible to resell the Protegrity platform.

Technology partners, such as ISVs and large cloud hyperscalers, get access to the Protegrity data protection platform. That way, they can develop custom software integrations. That eliminates friction for customers when implementing joint solutions, the company said.

“When developing the Protegrity Partner Network, we sought out input from many of our valued partners to determine how we can collaborate more effectively and deliver the best possible experience for our mutual customers,” Chitnis said. “Throughout this process, we witnessed an increasing interest across our customers for emerging data security use cases, such as AI and ML, advanced analytics, and hybrid-and multicloud initiatives, including cloud data warehousing. To address this growing demand, we tailored our program to help our partners more easily identify and deliver the right data security methods that best fit customers’ needs.”

Partner Benefits

Launch partners get access to sales and technical tools, the partner portal, virtual training, product updates and newsletters. Elevate partners, in addition to launch benefits, get virtual training, platform access, alliance and marketing contacts, and joint branding tools.

Transcend partners benefit from all of the above, plus additional training opportunities, dedicated alliance management, marketing and support contacts, discounted event sponsorship, one-on-one product briefings, an advisory board seat and joint business planning.

The partner certification program incentivizes partners to get training from Protegrity on data security and industry best practices. It also provides training on how to effectively identify opportunities with and implement the Protegrity platform.

To further enable partners, Protegrity will provide free, self-paced training aimed at sales and pre-sales. Different certification levels have requirements for pre-sales, sales and post-sales.

Strong Competitive Advantage

“The introduction of the Protegrity Partner Network offers a strong competitive advantage both for Protegrity and our partners,” Chitnis said. “The partner network allows us to more easily tap into new sales and distribution channels across the globe. As a result, we are able to empower more organizations to discover new uses of sensitive data and drive business excellence. Our partner ecosystem benefits from streamlined access to resources, discounts and incentives to drive net-new sales, and joint marketing tools and go-to-market support. This helps to ensure the greatest value and most seamless experience for our mutual customers.”

Vikas Jain is head of security product management at Snowflake.

“Our partnership with Protegrity delivers a unique advantage for our customers, helping them to realize even more value out of their sensitive data in Snowflake, without compromising security or privacy,” he said. “Through the Snowflake and Protegrity integration, customers can easily utilize Protegrity to protect data integrated with Snowflake’s Data Cloud.”
