IT security solutions provider Quick Heal Technologies has unveiled a new loyalty program called Quick Rewards for its North American reseller partners in an effort to spur greater sales of its IT security solutions.

The program is being billed as an opportunity for active channel partners to earn “unlimited financial benefits” with no limit on the amount of rewards cash that can be earned. Resellers earn up to 6 percent rewards cash for each referred partner’s first-year SEQRITE product line sales and 4 percent of the second year’s sales, according to the company.

To participate in the program, partners refer other VARs and resellers to Quick Heal using an online form, after which the company tallies up that reseller’s annual sales and provides a 6 percent kickback in the first quarter of the following year. Reward credit vouchers are applied to all future purchase orders submitted to Quick Heal. The same process occurs for the partner’s second-year sales, with a 4 percent credit rewarded during the following year. Partners can refer as many resellers as they want with no limits to the amount of reward dollars earned.

The program is meant to signal that Quick Heal is eager to grow its business with resellers, said Farokh Karani, director of North America, Sales and Channels at Quick Heal Technologies.

“It’s common practice for reseller executives to network with one another and talk business—from technology trends and profit margins, to new vendors and products,” said Farokh, in a statement. “As a newcomer to the North American IT security space, we want those conversations to be about the rewards of doing business with Quick Heal.”

Quick Heal also announced it has hired industry veterans Paul Lupo and Gus Safadi to its executive leadership team to grow its North American sales and channel program. Lupo, who formerly served in executive-level positions at Bitdefender, AVG and others, has been appointed as Quick Heal’s Eastern Region sales and support manager. Safadi has been appointed as Western Region sales manager, and formerly served as channel manager for ESET. Both men have been involved in IT security for more than 20 years, according to Quick Heal.

The company launched its SEQRITE portfolio of data security solutions in April, with all sales going exclusively through the channel. The company is actively looking for new channel partners for its North American Channel Partner Program, which offers up to 50 percent margins on sales in addition to other standard program benefits such as deal registration and deal protection.
