Quickcomm has unveiled the next version of its telecom expense management (TEM) solution, Enterprise TEM, aimed at enabling enterprises to achieve higher cost savings in provisioning, billing and inventory departments without the need to purchase additional software or services. Enterprise TEM is Quickcomm’s first Web-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) telecom expense management tool that provides an enhanced level of automation across telecom expense management systems.

Telecom Expense Management

The target market for Enterprise TEM is companies with approximately $10 million in annual telecom expense management spend, and the new version is differentiated by greater Web accessibility. Quickcomm’s software also can be resold by managed services/telecom expense management providers.

Built on Adobe’s Flex architecture, Enterprise TEM produces views of multiple telecom expense management service and equipment contracts, inventory and lifecycle management, and billing and optimization analysis. The new telecom expense management system also allows the creation of mobile store fronts where employees in need of new phones and other devices can shop, while managers set user controls to ensure corporate policies are being met.

Quickcomm’s Enterprise TEM is immediately available and currently being rolled out as a telecom expense management SaaS application to Quickcomm’s customers, including large enterprises, consultants and service providers, such as Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and Telwares. Initial pricing varies and is determined by each client’s telecom expense management line item, from mobile and cellular voice services to tie lines, paging services, data and PBX.
