Racemi Adds Support for IBM SoftLayer Object Storage
Racemi's Cloud Path for IBM now offers support for Softlayer Object Storage, which cloud-based storage service that enables customers to capture complete images.
Racemi isn’t done assisting customers with migrating server workloads to IBM’s SoftLayer cloud services. As of Monday, Cloud Path for IBM now offers support for Softlayer Object Storage, a cloud-based storage service that enables customers to capture complete images.
A few weeks ago Racemi announced that Cloud Path, the company’s software as a service (SaaS) self-service portal that automates the migration of existing Windows and Linux servers to public cloud services, would begin allowing customers to migrate server workloads to IBM’s SoftLayer cloud services at no charge.
The Atlanta-based server migration software company said the additional support for SoftLayer Object Storage places data into customer control 100 percent of the time to assist with ensuring security, and compliance with regulatory and governance policies.
“We’ve had experience with all different types of workloads and the feedback we’ve received has been nothing short of amazing,” said Lawrence Guillory, CEO of Racemi. “We hear over and over how much time and money customers have saved in the migration process using Cloud Path for IBM.”
Racemi said there have been hundreds of customers who have already migrated a range of workloads to SoftLayer. These applications range from customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), business process management (BPM), customer support, business collaboration, and knowledge management applications.
