RADCOM Ltd. at TeleManagement World on Tuesday unveiled its R70 Probe, a monitoring and analysis tool for next-generation network infrastructures and services.

The probe was designed for ILECs and cable and cellular operators restructuring their networks so they can offer next-generation services. Powered by Gear Set, RADCOMs proprietary processing engine, the LINUX-based R70 enables data processing at a rate of up to 10gbps, the company said. The R70 is an upgradeable component in RADCOMs Omni-Q system, which provides network management, monitoring and troubleshooting.

Moving to an all-IP core network architecture enables operators to offer triple- and quadruple-play services on the same network, explained Arnon Toussia-Cohen, president and CEO of RADCOM.

The resulting increase in traffic will drive the need for real-time, high performance monitoring and analysis tools. The R70 was designed to meet this need. It provides vendors and service providers with full visibility into the next-generation networks at work in todays labs and tomorrows networks.
