SES AMERICOM (Booth 330) announced it is seeking strong resellers to help meet the growing interest in and demand for its business continuity solution, REDiSat.

The REDiSat Network is designed to keep businesses up and running even when network connections and phones are out. Banks, utility companies, integrators and hospitals are among the first to sign on with the low-cost, customized offering, which provides an alternative to land-locked T1 circuits for both small and large firms, said the company.

A single pre-installed REDiSat Network satellite antenna can enable a branch office to mitigate risk and avoid business shutdowns due to network outages. The REDiSat service uses SES AMERICOMs satellite fleet, which carries millions of secure financial transactions every day and has been used by U.S. government agencies and Fortune 500 companies for 30 years, the company said.

The customer pays a small amount for the networks initial equipment and a minimal monthly subscription fee to secure network access. An additional variable hourly rate applies only when the network is in use.

The proactive REDiSat Network delivers high-speed Internet connections in two levels of service, selected by the customer in real time based on their needs at the time the emergency connection is initiated.

The REDiSat Network delivers always-on connectivity in times of trouble, and a growing number of organizations see it as an innovative way to quickly and efficiently meet their business continuity requirements, said Sophie Gerber, channel markets sales director for SES AMERICOM. As a result of our early REDiSat Network success, SES AMERICOM is looking for strong resellers and virtual network operators nationwide.

REDiSat Network demonstrations will be featured in SES AMERICOMs booth. Resellers and VNOs interested in more information about REDiSat Network can stop by or contact Gerber at [email protected].
