Synnex says Arista Networks, a cloud networking solutions vendor, is the latest supplier added to its line card. Arista focuses on the large data center and campus environment.

Just last month, Arista expanded of its cognitive campus portfolio with unified wired and wireless campus edge products, and also announced a next-generation hybrid cloud architecture for the enterprise that leverages the Microsoft Azure global network.

“Arista Networks continues to provide simplified, yet intuitive offerings that meet the increased need for leading technology solutions around data center and campus networking,” said Reyna Thompson, senior vice president, product management, North America at Synnex. “We are pleased to complement their solutions with a dedicated Synnex team as well as our extensive pre- and post-sales support offerings, which enable customers to effectively take advantage of this exciting, high-growth market.”

That pre- and post-sales support from Synnex includes assistance with virtual and onsite networking assessments; bill of materials and configurations; proof-of-concept demonstrations and NFR appliances; and access to training.

Synnex Arista Networks-focused resources also are available to help partners with business development, product management and specialization, pricing support and overall business management. Synnex also offers flexible financing options including subscription and consumption-based programs.

Synnex resellers will have access to the entire Arista Networks cognitive cloud networking portfolio. Gartner recently placed Arista among leaders in its Magic Quadrant for data center networking. The research organization recommended that large enterprises should include Arista on their shortlists for all data-center networking opportunities globally. At the same time, Gartner expressed concern about Arista’s lack of expertise in small and midmarket environments, particularly outside of North America and Europe.

“We are pleased to work with Synnex to expand our channel reach as we continue to invest in our data center and campus networking solutions,” said Ed Chapman, vice president of business development, strategic alliances and worldwide channel sales at Arista Networks. “Their expertise in secure networking, paired with their deep level of service and support offerings, will help resellers take their business to new heights.”
