Master agency Telecom Brokerage Inc. (TBI) announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo it has signed distribution deals with Covad Communications Group Inc. and Level 3 Communications Inc. The deals give Covad and Level 3 access to TBIs nationwide distribution network of more than 600 independent sales partners.

Covad is pleased to partner with TBI to increase our reach into the small business market and provide them with industry-leading VoIP and broadband solutions, says Tim Gaines, Covad senior vice president of sales, Covad Branded Service. TBIs well-trained professional sales staff is a perfect complement to our customer-centric approach of being easy to do business with.

TBI will sell Covads portfolio of business-class DSL, T1 and hosted and nonhosted voice solutions. Covad delivers feature-rich integrated local, long-distance and high-speed Internet access communications over one fully managed network connection.

TBI also signed a deal with Level 3 Communications. With dedicated sales and service staff in 120 markets, facilities-based access to the companys expansive footprint, and a comprehensive solutions portfolio, partnering with Level 3 is a nice addition to TBIs list of broadband providers, a TBI spokesperson says.

Level 3s Business Partner Program, which was launched at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, now combines the companys existing program with the recently acquired Broadwing partner program to provide enterprise-level services on Level 3s national footprint. TBI was one of Broadwings top agents.

The program also now includes a broader enterprise-focused service portfolio, including MPLS-based data services, dedicated Internet services and enterprise voice services.

With the signing of these two deals, our agents are able to offer an extensive suite of broadband services in a way that has never been done before, says Geoffrey Shepstone, president of TBI. The range of services, the number of markets we can service, the quality of the service itself TBI is now able to offer small-to-medium businesses an unprecedented broadband portfolio.
