Telstra Enterprise Sales VP Brings Experience in Channels
Adam Day played a big role in establishing Telstra's U.S. agent channel.
Telstra has appointed a new leader over its direct and indirect sales channels in the U.S. and Canada.
Adam Day now works as Telstra’s vice president of enterprise and technology sales for the Americas. The company cited his global technology and telecommunications experience as a factor in his promotion. The Telstra executive also possesses experience working with channels. He helped establish Telstra’s U.S. agent channel business while serving as head of enterprise sales strategy in 2015 and 2016.

“We are very excited about Adam’s plans to grow our enterprise and technology customer segment across North America,” said Nicholas Collins, president of Telstra Americas. “Adam is a seasoned sales leader with experience in working with customers spanning a broad range of industries and across global markets.”
Background
Day has spent 14 years at the Australia-based service provider. He most recently led technology and media sales in the Americas, overseeing go-to-market strategy and customer experience in the technology, media and broadcast verticals. As a result, he helped several large business build their network infrastructure and “reach markets across Asia Pacific.”
Moreover, Day will continue to support those companies in his new job. He spoke about additional verticals he’ll be pursuing.
“I’m excited to step into this expanded role to help businesses leverage Telstra Americas’ deep technology experience. We’ve seen incredible growth in our technology and financial services markets, and have ambitious growth plans in broadcast, enterprise services as well as our newest market in Canada,” Day said. “I look forward to working with our sales teams and partners to support a wide range of enterprise companies looking to grow their network infrastructure and workplace technology solutions.”

Day worked his way up the ladder after starting with Telstra’s graduate program in 2007. He was a national account executive, a global account director and head of wholesale and federal sales for the Americas. In addition, his work locations have included Sydney, London, New York and San Francisco.
