Teridion announced the launch of its Global Cloud Network solution this week in conjunction with the closure of its $15 million Series B funding round as it looks to expand its go-to-market strategy and increase its global influence.
All told, the cloud-based networking company reported $20 million in total funding following its latest investment round, which was provided through venture capital firms Jerusalem Venture Partners, Magma VC and Singtel Innov8 (pronounced innovate). The funds will allow the company to focus on building a larger dedicated customer base looking to increase end-user generated Internet content, according to the announcement.
“The Internet is an incredibly powerful tool, but until now, we have struggled to take full advantage of its capabilities. It’s still common for us to fall victim to slow response times and volatile connections,” said Elad Rave, founder and CEO of Teridion, in a statement. “We are breaking down these boundaries and providing users with a seamless Internet experience – no matter their location, device or application.”
Teridion’s solution aims to help end users speed up their applications and content delivery systems by tackling issues with low latency, according to the company. Thus far its Global Cloud Network solution has shown up to 20x improvement in Internet performance in early customer deployments.
The Global Cloud Network is available now, with pricing based on data volume and users.
