Tigerpaw Software Inc. has partnered with two major payment processing providers — BNG Holdings and FTNI — to launch a real-time integration payment program called Livebridge. The result: IT service providers running Tigerpaw's business management software can accept credit card payments in a range of ways.Tigerpaw has introduced Livebridge so that its customer base — typically MSPs, VARs and telecom resellers — can “increase efficiencies, improve quality and streamline their businesses,” according to a Tigerpaw press release. The Livebridge program means Tigerpaw, BNG Holdings and ETran, powered by FTNI, will now offer a single entry for credit card payments.
Tigerpaw clients can choose one of three ways to process payments:
Accept payments from a credit card or automated clearing house (ACH);
accept online payments through the Tigerpaw customer portal; and
process scheduled payments automatically using touch-free invoicing.
Over the past few years, PSA (professional services automation) software from such companies as Tigerpaw, ConnectWise and Autotask (among others) has become the central platform for running IT services companies. PSA systems typically include such capabilities as CRM (customer relationship management), financials, marketing, time and materials tracking and more.
The Livebridge solution is free for members of the Tigerpaw Customer Assurance (TCA) Program, according to Tigerpaw President James Foxall. Tigerpaw launched Livebridge in 2007 as a monthly subscription service that enabled manufactures, distributors, and dealers to communicate with each other in real time. On a side note, the 2011 Tigerpaw User Conference is set for Oct. 19-21 in Dallas, Texas.
