Trapeze Networks Introduces 802.11n AP

Trapeze Networks has announced availability of its MP-82, an 802.11n dual-radio 2×3 MIMO indoor access point. Priced at $745, the MP-82 is targeted toward work spaces with a high number of computers, wireless handsets or PDAs needing Wi-Fi connectivity. The MP-82 is the newest member of Trapeze Networks line of NonStop Wireless network line of products.

Through RingMaster, the company’s suite of management software used to plan, deploy and optimize WLANS, Trapeze uncovered the need for an 802.11n access point designed for areas needing a higher density of connectivity per square foot. Trapeze reports having only six months pass before they brought the product to market.
