Wholesale Carrier Services (WCS), a CLEC and reseller of more than 125 regional and global carriers, announced Wednesday it has entered a strategic alliance with colo provider Telx to offer its customers carrier-neutral connectivity and colocation in all 15 of Telxs North American locations.

WCS provides telecommunications services to enterprise clients through a distribution channel of agents and VARs.

Telx has four facilities in the New York Metro area, two facilities in Chicago, two in Dallas, three in California and facilities in Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix and Charlotte, N.C.

WCS is proud to be a reseller of Telxs interconnection and colocation services to our enterprise customers,” said Jay Morris, director of product management for WCS. We see great value in the fact that Telx is carrier-neutral, allowing our customers to be one cross-connect away from a secure, direct connection to any of the 800 carriers, ISPs, media/content and enterprises within the Telx ecosystem.”

WCS is also a colocation customer of Telx, with data center space in the Dallas facility located at 8435 Stemmons Freeway.
