Webroot Unveils SecureAnywhere Global Site Manager for MSPs
Webroot has launched Global Site Manager, a cloud-based management console for use with its SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection solution.
Webroot, a company that provides online security solutions, has released SecureAnywhere Global Site Manager for managed service providers (MSPs). The tool enables MSPs to leverage a cloud-based management console to deploy SecureAnywhere more efficiently, Webroot said.
“The SecureAnywhere cloud-based approach is a perfect fit for customers who are protecting multiple sites, and we recognize that these deployments can have more advanced management requirements,” Mike Malloy, executive vice president of Products and Strategy at Webroot, said in a prepared statement. “With [Global Site Manager] and our network of remote management and monitoring partners … MSPs gain exceptional management capabilities and superior support, while providing their customers with complete protection against advanced threats and disruptions.”
Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Business solutions are designed to allow MSPs to take advantage of remote monitoring and management (RMM) service capabilities from providers such as Kaseya and LabTech Software. Webroot said “the value [it provides] to MSPs not only includes reduced costs, but also improved productivity and increased recurring revenue streams.”
Global Site Manager works with Webroot’s SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection solution to help MSPs identify security threats. According to Webroot, Global Site Manager is scalable and allows MSPs to manage hundreds of customers and thousands of endpoints from a single console.
Webroot said Global Site Manager’s features include the following:
Auto-provisioning
Auto-remediation
Reporting
Threat alerting
Global Site Manager is available to all Webroot SecureAnywhere Business – Endpoint Protection customers. In addition, Webroot said Global Site Manager’s functionality will be improved throughout this year to provide MSPs with more flexibility “for managing multi-site, multi-organization, multi-administered and other highly sophisticated deployment scenarios.”
