Westcon, Phybridge Sign Distribution Agreement

Westcon Group Inc. has signed an agreement with Phybridge Inc., a manufacturer of VoIP deployment infrastructure. Westcon will offer Phybridge’s entire line of VoIP infrastructure solutions to its North American reseller customers, including the UniPhyer, Phybridge’s VoIP solution. Additionally, Phybridge will participate in Westcon’s ConvergencePoint program.

Phybridge’s UniPhyer enables VoIP deployment and Power over Ethernet (PoE) over existing single pair cabling, allowing companies to establish a complete IP network for voice and data quickly and easily, the companies said. The solution, which is fully compatible with Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Polycom and other Westcon manufacturer partners, provides a dedicated path for voice, Quality of Service (QoS) and Power Over Ethernet (PoE) to every desktop.

The Phybridge UniPhyer is available in 24- and 48-port versions and can be ordered immediately.
