TalkSwitch Releases New Business Phone
Hybrid phone maker TalkSwitch has released the TS-400, a single-line, analog telephone set for use with all TalkSwitch telephone systems. It features an adjustable backlit LCD display, dedicated headset controls and more than a dozen one-touch feature keys. Other features include hands-free paging and intercom, a 99-name and number telephone directory, caller ID log, data port, a voice mail waiting indicator and message counter. The TS-400 also is hearing-aid compatible. Available through resellers, the TS-400 is priced at $159. www.talkswitch.com
NGT Rolls Out 6DegreesIP Version 4
Wholesale hosted VoIP provider New Global Telecom Inc. has released the fourth version of its 6DegreesIP VoIP voice products, which service providers rebrand for business and residential customers.
6DegreesIP v4.0 now has an enhanced trunk replacement product that replaces traditional PRI and T1 trunks with converged voice and data circuits, enabling any business to benefit from the lower costs of VoIP without having to replace their existing key systems or PBXs. The new version also includes an instant group call for PBX-like paging functionality, hoteling service for businesses with mobile workers, and an E911 pre-sales validation utility that allows service providers to verify 911 coverage from within the online 6DegreesIP Resource Center. www.ngt.com
PAETEC Offers Software for Services Financing Program
PAETEC Communications Inc. announced it now is offering financing for customers purchasing software packages through the companys Software for Services (SFS) program. PAETEC will set up financing for a customers software purchase including installation and training through AEL Financial LLC. The monthly lease payment and any subsidy will be included on the customers PAETEC network invoice. This is particularly attractive for agents who also sell software, as customers without the capital to make a software purchase will no longer be out of reach, said PAETEC Vice President Lisa FitzGerald, adding software purchases can be anything from PAETECs own PINNACLE Telecom Expense Management suite to Microsoft Office. www.paetec.com
InPhonex Enhances Channel Program

Citel Technologies has added the EXTender IP6000 to its line of EXTender products, which give multilocation businesses a way to migrate to IP telephony.
