Systems integrator World Wide Technology (WWT) recently took home both the Federal Partner of the Year and Software-Defined Data Center Federal Partner of the Year awards for its work in delivering VMware (VMW) virtualization and cloud solutions to public sector customers.
“We are honored to have been recognized both as a Federal Partner and as an Software-Defined Data Center Federal Partner,” said Lisa Hayes, director of Federal Healthcare at WWT, in a statement. “Our longstanding partnership with VMware has been extremely beneficial to our customers and our company, allowing us to solve unique public sector challenges with a broad range of innovative technological solutions.”
The awards were presented during the VMware Public Sector Partner Summit 2015 held earlier this year in McLean, Virginia. WWT is currently a VMware Premier Partner, having completed the virtualization company’s highest program requirements for partnership.
“VMware is dedicated to educating and equipping our partners with the resources they need to thrive, while providing more agile delivery of IT services to organizations of all sizes,” said Laura Davis, director of U.S. Public Sector Partners at VMware. “We congratulate WWT on winning Federal Partner of the Year and Software-Defined Data Center Federal Partner of the Year and look forward to our continued mutual success in 2015.”
