Zebra Technologies to Launch Channel Partner Program

Real-time visibility products and services provider Zebra Technologies (ZBRA) is formalizing its reseller partner efforts with the unveiling of a global channel partner program.

Zebra said the program will help make it easier for partners to expand their relationships with the company and deliver its solutions to customers around the globe, according to the company.

The partner program, which is slated to kick off next January, integrates elements of Zebra’s previous PartnersFirst program and the PartnerEmpower Program to address the needs of distributors, independent software vendors and system integrators that may not have previously benefitted from either program.

Aside from expanded support for different kinds of partners, Zebra promised to differentiate engagement and support for resellers who invest in the company’s services and demonstrate competency in its product portfolio. New training, education and incentive programs for partners are also expected to drive skill differentiation and help partners stand out from their peers.

Finally, Zebra is simplifying its pricing structure to help drive competitive advantages for resellers and design a more consistent global program framework that accounts for regional and local market differences, according to the announcement.

“Zebra is more committed to the channel than ever before and our new program will provide expanded resources and capabilities—demonstrating the strength of our business and how we are better together,” said Eileen Eck, vice president of Global Channel Strategy, Marketing and Operations, at Zebra Technologies, in a statement. “Our partner program will be closely aligned with our vision of creating a smarter, more connected global business community and we will work with our partners to help them differentiate themselves, better serve our end users and seize the opportunities presented by enterprise asset intelligence.”
