5LINXs Kancharla Buy Gives Partners More Reach

5LINX Enterprises Inc. has acquired certain assets of billing and hosted VoIP services provider Kancharla Corp.

5LINX bought Kancharla’s wholesale division, which includes the business, residential, E911, DID and A-Z origination-termination services. 5LINX is selling those products through its VoIP subsidiary GLOBALINX (Booth 1330). Kancharla still offers the standalone and private-label versions of its LeftSeat Billing/OSS software platform.

GLOBALINX — and its agents and resellers — now have more customer opportunities thanks to the additional footprint gained through Kancharla.

Rochester, N.Y.-based GLOBALINX positions itself as a one-stop shop for telecommunications products and services including hosted PBX and SIP trunking, video and Wi-Fi phones and broadband Internet access.
