AirWatch Launches Partner Portal: AirWatch Marketplace

AirWatch CEO John Marshall told attendees today at AirWatch Connect 2013 that it has created a detailed partner portal, not just a place for partner logos, branded as AirWatch Marketplace.

AirWatch has divided its partner network into ten categories: application development, certificate authorities, device manufacturers, enterprise applications, mobile retail, network and NAC providers, printers, telecom expense management, VPN and web security.

According to the company, partners will be able to find specific details on each partner, including capabilities, supported versions, integration requirements, languages and geographies supported.

AirWatch’s Marshall told attendees that the site is more than just marketing collatoral. Partners can go into the portal to find how each partner is working with AirWatch.

Stratix CEO Gina Gallo said the AirWatch Marketplace portal will provide the company’s managed mobile service offering to the AirWatch customer and partner ecosystem.

“We see this as a mechanism to further define the unique value proposition we have within the AirWatch partner community given our full service offering around MDM Administration, Implementation and Support Services,” she said.

Bradford Networks, a vendor with a spot at the AirWatch Mobility Expo, told MSPmentor that the portal is a great central location for partners looking to develop bring your own device solutions.

“The AirWatch MarketPlace is yet another initiative through which we can continue to strengthen our relationship with AirWatch in addition to a number of other joint activities that we are in the process of rolling out,” Bradford Networks Business Development Vice President Vincent Ma.

AirWatch Chairman Alan Dabbiere told MSPmentor that more than 90 channel and technology partners are participating in the AirWatch Mobility Expo and more are in attendance.
