Show sponsor American Telesis (Booth 900), a facilities-based carrier offering WAN solutions and a complete suite of data, Ethernet and IP products across the United States and Canada, has announced the addition of people, places and products to its family.

Steve Yost has joined American Telesis as vice president of sales and marketing. With more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in professional services and network sales to the financial services community, Yost will focus his sales and marketing expertise on American Telesis introduction of a suite of IP-based devices for the financial market. The anticipated release date of these IP devices is fourth quarter 2006.

Also in personnel news, Heather J. Selbert, who joined the company in 1999, has been promoted to vice president of operations for American Telesis. Selbert will lead the operations division of American Telesis for North America. She actively will oversee all facets of provisioning, engineering, installation and maintenance of American Telesis Network Services.

Geographically, American Telesis has expanded its presence into Denver and an additional location in New York, and has hired another sales representative, Julia Bunting, to support the agent channel.

American Telesis also is experiencing growth in IP and Ethernet services. The introduction of new Ethernet products, namely equipment that can deliver Ethernet over copper, brings greater bandwidth within reach of more customers than ever before, said the company.
