Broadening Your Marketing Mix to More Effectively Reach Customers

Earlier this month I attended VMware Partner Exchange 2015, where I had an opportunity to meet with several partners. Much of what I wanted to take away from these meetings had to do with better understanding the partners’ go-to-market strategy, as well as their current marketing mix and the role digital played. Partners consistently shared with me their desire to have a stronger digital marketing presence, and we discussed how VMware could support their digital marketing efforts by using the VMware Partner Demand Center

Although many partners have been using the Partner Demand Center to access marketing campaign assets or to execute a partner marketing campaign from the Demand Center, back at headquarters we are continually looking at new ways to help our partners broaden their marketing mix to more effectively reach their customers—specifically, on the digital marketing front. One of the ways we believe we can add value is by enabling partners to utilize Social Media Syndication and Website Content Syndication from one platform using the VMware Partner Demand Center

The VMware Social Media Syndication tool helps partners build their thought leadership brand and grow their social media audience with quality VMware and industry-specific targeted content. The tool is easy to manage and provides daily content to automatically publish to the partner’s company Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook pages. 

The VMware Website Content Syndication tool aids in keeping a partner’s customer base and potential prospects up to date with the latest VMware product content by ensuring participating partners have the most accurate VMware information on their websites. The tool is available in 14 languages and provides customers with an overview and benefits of each product.  Partners also have access to free trial links, enabling participating partners to benefit from leveraging one of our most compelling offers.
