For almost 25 years, Channel Partners has been the leader in bringing together the best of the best. Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2021 will help partners explore new possibilities post COVD-19 and beyond.
And new this year, Channel Partners will be co-located with our first MSP Summit. The event will help MSPs accelerate growth and maximize business value among partners, suppliers and customers.
In 2010, Khali Henderson (left, then editor-in-chief of Channel Partners, now senior partner at BuzzTheory) moderated the roundtable. Here she listens as Nigel Williams (right, then with Level 3, now owner of GTM Impact) responds to a question.
Later in the roundtable, Jim Delis (left, then with Time Warner Cable Business Class, now with TPx) makes a point as Blake Wetzel (right, then with CenturyLink Business, now with TeraGo) looks on.
Back in 2011, The Alliance of Channel Women was still called Women in the Channel. Different name, but the same great work. The group’s meetups at Channel Partners events are equal parts networking and workshop.
Here, Michelle Kadlacek (left, then with Windstream Communications, now with Spectrum Enterprise) enjoys conversation and refreshments before Nancy Ridge (right, then with Technology Source, now with Ridge Innovative) helps the group get down to business.
There’s no substitute for expert insights. In 2011, some of those insights came from Liquid Networx’s award-winning Don Douglas (left) and Jason Bystrak (right, then with Ingram Micro, now with D&H Distributing).
In 2012, attendees heard from Bob Evans (left, then with Oracle, now with Cloud Wars and Evans Strategic Communications) and mingled with the legendary Bill Powell (right) of The Alliance Partners.
Also in 2012, Channelnomics’ Larry Walsh (left) and AT&T’s Chris Jones (right) provided a high-level view of channel trends.
Although they’re only trying to find seats for one of 2012’s sessions, (left to right) Carrier Access’ Shane Stark, COLOTRAQ’s Dany Bouchedid and EnableIP’s Jeremy Kerth look like they could be the bouncers for the event.
In 2016, Vince Bradley (left, then with WTG, now AppSmart) shared the stage with Ken Bisnoff (left, then with TelePacific Communications, now with EagleTEQ Advisors).
Among the panel discussions at the 2017 event was one featuring (left to right) Andrew Pryfogle (then with Intelisys, now with CX Effect), Jeff Newton (then with TBI, now with SHI International), Telarus’ Adam Edwards and Tim Acker (then with Synnex, now with T-Mobile).
Also in 2017, Telarus’ Amy Bailey moderated a discussion group that included (left to right) Coolhead Tech’s Christopher Alghini, Eric Bohren (then with RingCentral, now with Icertis) and Dennis DeMeyere (then with Google Cloud, now with Physna).
In 2018, Channel Futures and Channel Partners introduced the Channel Influencer Awards. Among the first individual winners were (left) Comcast Business’ Craig Schlagbaum and (right) TPx’s Hilary Gadda.
Channel Partners’ former vice president of U.S. sales Brian Snortheim (now with Spectrum Enterprise) is presenting the awards.
Janet Schijns, CEO of JS Group, is an indefatigable champion of the channel. She considers it her personal mission to keep the channel thriving. Schijns is a regular participant in Channel Partners events, as well as a contributor to the Channel Futures website. No wonder, then, she was named the 2019 Channel Influencer of the Year.
As principal analyst – channels, partnerships and ecosystems for Forrester, Jay McBain is all about the numbers. His analysis, insights and predictions help direct and educate the channel. Like Janet Schijns, he is a valued contributor the Channel Partners events and the Channel Futures website. Also like Schijns, he has been named the Channel Influencer of the Year. He received his award in 2021.
A 2019 provider panel included (left to right) Geoff Chretien (then with NICE inContact, now with Genesys), Bob Lyons (then with Alert Logic, now with Limelight Networks), 8×8’s John DeLozier, Masergy’s Ray Watson, Trustwave’s Suzanne Swanson and Nate Grinnell (then with Oracle, now with Wind River).
DeLozier was the Channel Partners and Channel Futures 2020 Channel Influencer of the Year.
Who else should you be on the lookout for at Channel Partners? Hard to say. But among those who have made regular appearances in the past are Salesforce’s Tiffani Bova (right) and CompTIA’s Carolyn April (left).
Avant’s Drew Lydecker (left) and EagleTEQ Advisors’ Curt Allen (right) can be depended upon to have the latest information on leading-edge technology.
Clarify360’s Jo Peterson (left) — also known as co-founder of Cloud Girls and as @digitalcloudgal on Twitter — and TBI’s Bryan Reynolds (right) know how to be informative and engaging. On the stage and off.

The cruise industry has nothing on Channel Partners when it comes to serving delicious meals throughout the day. This is what expandable waistbands are made for. Now that we all have to wear pants again.

Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2021 is going to be a homecoming in every sense of the word. It will be the first time in more than two years we’ve been able to meet and greet each other live. Finally, we can return to the in-person networking, making new connections and catching up with old friends.
Virtual does have its benefits. But there’s no substitute for actually being in the Expo Hall to see the newest products and solutions. For days jam-packed with conference sessions, keynote presentations and special events. The buzz and banter of the crowds. The chance to be face-to-face.
And speaking of faces, after more than two years away, will you be able to come up with the names that go with them? Just in case, here’s a quick refresher course.
Click through the slideshow above to reacquaint yourself with some of the people you’re likely to encounter at Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2021. And make sure your face is among those returning to Las Vegas this November.
