Senior leaders from three of the hottest and fastest-growing MSPs on the Channel Futures MSP 501 join Informa’s Allison Francis to discuss how they managed their organizations through rapid revenue growth and the challenges they faced along the way. Leah Freiman, CEO of ItCon, Daniel Herrera, CIO of TailWinds Technology, and Mitch Morgan, CEO of New Charter Technologies, will address how they were tested as leaders, the technology and services that propelled their companies’ growth and the shifts they are making to maintain that momentum.
The Channel Partners Conference & Expo and MSP Summit are part of a portfolio of events produced by London-based Informa, the world’s leading organizer of technology communities and networks. Our attendees and sponsors enjoy an unparalleled experience derived from best practices no one else can deliver. At the core of our events are the information, education and connections attendees need to advance their businesses. Gary Nugent, CEO of Informa Tech, is traveling to Las Vegas from all the way across the pond to discuss how Informa’s focus on information helps you stay ahead of the competition.
Change is a constant in the ICT channel; the past two years have been characterized by rapid change. As a result, it’s more important than ever for channel partners to understand how to respond to today’s buyer and to create long-lasting partnerships based on the value of providing technology solutions that impact the business. In this session, Informa’s Bobby DeMarzo will moderate a panel of prominent IT partners in discussing how their priorities have changed, the prominent roles they now play inside their organizations and how they are managing budgets and tech spend. Aaron Geiger, CTO of Alberici, Heather Hinton, CISO of RingCentral, and Mike Novak, vice president of IT security, data protection and compliance for Seminole Hard Rock Support Services, will share where IT budgets are growing and take a hard look at the single biggest issue facing their organizations — security.
The frenzied pace of M&A and investment activity that began in late 2021 shows no sign of slowing down. Partners in the IT and connectivity services sectors are wheeling and dealing at record levels. Partners across the entire channel are wondering what their next strategic move should be or how they can maximize value. Informa’s Craig Galbraith and James Anderson will be at the helm as Rashaad Bajwa, CEO of Integris, Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus, and Abe Garver of FOCUS Investment Banking share their thoughts on why channel partners are suddenly so attractive, the technologies and services fueling this trend and along with the pros and cons of it all.
The best way to prepare for the future of the ICT channel is to nurture the next generation of leaders. Cassie Jeppson, director of North America channel programs for Lenovo, leads a discussion among 2021 Alliance of Channel Women LEAD Award winners of how they are inspiring future women leaders. Vivian Chavez, senior director of the channel program for the Comcast Business Solution Provider, Kelly Danziger, general manager and vice president of channel for Informa Tech, Theresa Garner, director of partner development for Avaya, and Alicia Steward, national alliance manager for Zoom, will explain why and how they focus on inspiring other channel women to follow their lead.
What does it take to become a champion? According to Michael Jordan, “Champions do not become champions when they win an event, but in the hours, weeks, and months, and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely a demonstration of their championship character.” Sportswriter and author Don Yaeger spent 25 years surrounded by championship character in action. From Jordan and Walter Payton — on whom no big college was willing to risk a scholarship — to John Wooden and Pat Riley, Yaeger watched them, interviewed them and learned from them. In his keynote, “16 Characteristics of Greatness,” he will share his insight on the strengths, skills — and most importantly, mindset — that make a champion.
Keep an eye on your electronics because a power surge is coming. The executives responsible for the market’s largest partner ecosystems are going to explain how to unlock your potential in the coming year. Informa’s Kelly Danziger and Bobby DeMarzo will take the lead in finding out how these executives are addressing the biggest market challenges, the channel partners they believe will be most successful, best practices they are observing and where they see the greatest opportunity. Tyler Bryson, corporate vice president of global partner solutions U.S. for Microsoft, Danny Jenkins, CEO and founder of ThreatLocker, Chris Jones, associate vice president of channel sales for AT&T, and Oliver Tuszik, senior vice president of global partner sales for Cisco, will share what products and services they’re developing for channel partners and the evolution of their programs.

This year’s Channel Partners Conference & Expo and Channel Futures MSP Summit will connect the entire channel at a time when every leader is focused at being the best in the business. In fact, the theme of this year’s conference which will take place April 11-14 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas is “The Best Is Yet to Come.” That fitting theme reflects the optimism all channel partners and their strategic suppliers have about the future of the business.
Under one roof, several thousand partners will gather to discuss the biggest challenges and opportunities facing them when it comes to technology trends, changing customer needs and the evolution of business models. There will be something for everyone, whether they are leading technology advisory firms that sell communications solutions, organizations that deploy managed services or the companies that supply both. The event bridges the communications and information technology channels at a critical time for partners looking to accelerate the success of their customers in a post-pandemic world. This new era is also one fraught with unpredictability as evidenced by repercussion of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine.
This year’s Channel Partners Conference & Expo will feature industry leaders on the main stage delivering game-changing keynotes packed with actionable advice, the debut of a new All-Star Speaker Series featuring the brightest minds in business today and the launch of the Channel Futures Peer Groups. On the main stage, attendees will also gain an understanding of the power of Informa, our parent company, via the vision of Informa Tech CEO Gary Nugent. And as the industry’s largest independent channel conference and expo, Channel Partners Conference & Expo gives attendees the opportunity to connect with more than 6,500 attendees, hear from more than 100 speakers and engage with 300 tech and communications suppliers.
A Few Highlights
Here’s some of what attendees can look forward to:
CIOs will take to the main stage as part of a panel discussion designed to help everyone in the channel understand the evolution of the buyer’s journey and what senior IT leaders want from their partners.
Channel leaders from some of the biggest names in the industry including Microsoft, Cisco, AT&T and ThreatLocker will come together to discuss how their organizations are transforming partner programs and opening new growth avenues for their network
M&A experts will help every attendee understand the state of mergers, acquisitions and the flow of private equity into the channel as part of a keynote panel. Attendees will then be able to hear specific M&A content in sessions tailored to the specific needs of agents and MSPs.
In a first-of-its-kind keynote, the 2021 Alliance of Channel Women LEAD award winners will appear on the main stage to discuss how they are empowering the next generation of women leaders.
The secrets of agents will be revealed in the main ballroom when today’s leading members of the communications channel — agents, direct sellers and technology advisers — join together for a riveting discussion about the future of their business.
The conference is launching an All-Star Speaker Series featuring experts in cybersecurity, leadership and marketing. Expert moderators will guide discussions that have key takeaways for channel leaders who are looking to lead into new markets, redefine their marketing strategies and understand cybersecurity’s changing landscape.
In the post-pandemic world, attendees of conferences want more value and depth of experience. That’s why we’re launching a new initiative called The Channel Futures Peer Groups where participants can have closed-door conversations about the business of being a channel partner. Peer groups are designed for MSPs focused on cybersecurity and for technology advisers/agents, but open to all technology providers who want to learn from their peers.
While our conference will help our attendees learn, the enormous Expo Hall will allow buyers and sellers to connect at a time when they need to engage in face-to-face engagement. And of course, as is our tradition, we promise to provide our attendees with fun and entertainment.
The Channel Partners Conference & Expo is now less than six weeks away. Between then and now, watch for previews of what’s on the agenda.
