Channel Partners: Covista Revives TotalTel Name

TotalTel/Covista Communications (Booth 1227), a full-service, facilities-based telecommunications company, announced it will relaunch the TotalTel name.
TotalTel USA Communications Inc. was a publicly traded, long-distance telephone service provider based in Little Falls, N.J., which began offering telephone service in 1983 and grew to annual revenues of $140 million by 2000.
The company was renamed Covista Communications and relocated to Chattanooga, Tenn.
With the recent acquisitions of General Telecom and ClearEnd, Covista is working to expand its presence in the hosted IP market with its SimplyBusiness product line and bundled service packages. The TotalTel brand will focus on IP technology and unified communications for the businessto- business user.
Covista is a certified CLEC in 48 states and an FCC 214 international facilities-based carrier. Its fully redundant nationwide SONET network architecture provides missioncritical voice and data applications to customers throughout the United States.
