Covista Communications Inc. (Booth 703) has announced that it will streamline its commission structure, and increase service availability areas in tandem with rolling out a new suite of business communication plans.

The product suite will include local, long-distance, DSL and integrated T1 services within the Verizon Communications Inc. and BellSouth Corp. territories.

We are simplifying both our residential and commercial product offerings, said Sean Aversano, Covistas national agent program manager. We are also re-structuring our commission plans and payouts to be among the best in the industry. We are simply going to make it easier to do business with Covista Communications.

Facilities-based Covista principally targets residential and small businesses with voice, data and Internet, including long-distance and toll-free services, local dial tone and features, calling cards, frame relay, Internet access, VPN, directory assistance and teleconferencing services.

Covista recently purchased the MetaSwitch service platform, and now owns and operates switches in Chattanooga, Tenn., Dallas and Minneapolis.
