May 25, 2012
Welcome to another edition of Distribution Watch, our weekly collection of all things distribution-related. This week we train our eye on Clicksquared, Ingram Micro (NASDAQ: IM) and Synnex (NYSE: SNX), so clean off your reading glasses and let’s get to it.
ClickSquared: Okay, it’s not a distributor — ClickSquared is a global provider of cross-channel marketing software and services. But it did add a distribution partner to its partner program as it expands its reach Down Under.
Database Consultants Australia (DCA) offers full-service database marketing solutions to customers in the Pacific Rim area, and will use ClickSquared’s Cross-Channel Marketing Hub for its enterprise-class campaign management capabilities, actionable customer intelligence tools, ready-to-deploy social apps and myriad channel delivery options.
Ingram Micro: IM was recently honored as a finalist for the Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Association (BNBEA) Crystal Award at the 6th annual Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards. BNBEA recognizes several Buffalo-area businesses each year for their commitment to business ethics. Ingram Micro was tapped for its philanthropic efforts in the Buffalo/Niagara region.
Synnex: The value-added distributor moved up on the Fortune 500 list of largest U.S. companies for the sixth year in a row. The Fortune 500 list ranks U.S. companies by their prior year’s annual revenue. Synnex reported $10.41 billion in revenue for the 2011 fiscal year and now ranks No. 253, jumping up 28 spots from its 2011 ranking. Synnex debuted on the Fortune 500 list in 2007 with reported fiscal 2006 annual revenue of $6.34 billion, ranking at No. 360 on the list.
And that’s that for this week. Join us next week for another round of Distribution Watch. Happy reading!
