Early Bird Drawing Winner Announced

PHONE+ is pleased to announce the winner of its Early Bird Drawing, one of several valuable prizes that will be awarded to qualified indirect sales organizations attending the Spring 2007 Channel Partners Conference & Expo.

Brad Venuti, vice president of client operations for Profit Enhancement Services (PES), in Danvers, Mass., is the winner of $1,000 and three nights stay at the host hotel Venetian during the show. Venuti was selected at random from among qualified channel partner delegates who registered as of Feb. 2.

PES has been providing telecommunications expense management services to midsized businesses in the Northeast for 14 years. Its 25 employees provide business process outsourcing (BPO), telecommunication audit, procurement advice and wireless expense management.

Venuti, who has been with the company five years, is a first-time attendee of the Channel Partners Conference & Expo event.

The Channel Partners Conference & Expo is the communications industrys only national convention for solutions providers agents, VARs, systems integrators, interconnects, wireless dealers and consultants.

Venuti and company president Greg DeMayo are traveling to the Vegas trade show to investigate developing a channel for PES managed services. Winning the Early Bird Prize was a complete surprise for Venuti, who got his registration in under the wire for the Feb. 2 deadline. I thought it was a scam, says Venuti, describing his reaction to the news, which was delivered via telephone by Trade Show Manager Sarah Waschler. He quickly verified the legitimacy when he saw Waschlers photo on the show Web site.

Venuti says he plans to use the cash to help fund the trip and for some extra spending money most likely at the blackjack tables.

There are other chances to win, says Waschler. Qualified registrants automatically will be entered into a prize drawing for one of two more raffle giveaways at the show. One is a $1,500 Nordstrom Gift Card and the other is a $1,000 Best Buy Gift Card.

And once again, PHONE+ is bringing back its passport promotion. Qualified attendees who get their passports stamped by every passport vendor will be entered to win a $2,500 American Express Gift Card.
