Conferencing and collaboration services provider InterCall (Booth 1210) announced the global launch of InterCall Unifed Meeting, the company’s new flagship Web conferencing product. Designed to deliver an easy-to-use yet feature-rich experience, InterCall United Meeting enables customers to integrate audio, Web, video, calendar systems and instant messaging applications while offering global capabilities.

“InterCall Unified Marketing gives InterCall customers a new way to increase productivity and collaboration wherever they are,” said Scott Etzler, president of InterCall. “The ‘click-to-start’ feature makes access straightforward and gets people collaborating in a quicker, simpler way.”

The release of InterCall Unified Meeting is a result of the recent acquisition of Genesys Conferencing. InterCall has paired its global audio conferencing infrastructure with Genesys’ proprietary Web conferencing technology. InterCall Unified Meeting offers customers a simple way to share documents and software with people around the world without the need for complicated technology. One way users will benefit from this solution is by having the ability to start their audio conferences from the Web, a big shift from the traditional way of picking up the phone, dialing a number and entering a code.
