OpenText World: OpenText Unveils Unified Partner Program Post-Micro Focus Acquisition

OPENTEXT WORLD — At OpenText World 2023, OpenText unveiled a new unified partner program that combines its partner ecosystem with that of recently acquired Micro Focus.

OpenText also announced the latest release of its Cloud Editions (CE) 23.4, which includes OpenText Aviator artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities that carry through the company’s innovation road map.

OpenText World has brought 2,000 live participates to Las Vegas with thousands more joining virtually.

“We are watching with shock and sadness the indiscriminate violence and brutal terrorist attacks against the Israeli people,” he said. “These appalling assaults by terrorists are never, ever justified. The OpenText offices in [Israel] are open. Our employees are in the office undeterred, safe and resolute. They are working today to support our customers and partners in Israel and around the world. We stand shoulder to shoulder with you. And may the one that brings peace bring peace for all.”

The new OpenText Partner Network offers support and greater opportunities to the entire network consisting of more than 30,000 partners. Now aligned under a standardized program framework, partners will have access to OpenText’s depth of expertise and breadth in information management that will equip them with “best-in-class solutions” to deliver value to enterprise customers.

When it comes to cybersecurity, OpenText continually looks for new ways to evolve its cybersecurity technology to stay ahead of emerging threats, and empower its customers to rapidly detect and respond, wrote Geoff Bibby, senior vice president of OpenText cybersecurity. In  a recent blog, he shared OpenText’s vision for AI-driven cybersecurity, how OpenText Cybersecurity Aviator will transform threat detection, and the innovation taking place at OpenText.

“We look forward to sharing more details about our forthcoming advancements, including product road maps and availability, in the near future,” he said.
