PowerNet Global Communications (Booth 2012) has added trunking to its SIP portfolio and is running a promotion through Sept. 30 to entice channel partners to push the gateway product.

While PowerNet Global’s SIP Gateway uses the Verizon network and targets large businesses, its VersaTrunk SIP trunking runs on the company’s own network and was designed for SMBs.

Through the end of September, the CLEC will pay a one-time, 100 percent bonus per SIP ANI MRC. SIP Gateway features include E911, directory listings and assistance, inbound complete, two-way local and more.

PowerNet Global says VersaTrunk compares favorably to traditional integrated access, yet costs less and is more versatile. It includes the same features as PowerNet Global’s SIP Gateway service, but it also comes with dedicated Internet access and dynamically allocates bandwidth in a way that’s transparent to users.

“We think our new SIP services really complement our current product offering and give our agents and customers the complete package,” said Anton Loon, director of enterprise sales for PowerNet Global. “This way, they won’t need to go from place to place to get the best in IP products. They can get everything they need from PNG.”
