Quosal LLC has released Quasal 2012, an update to the company’s sales quoting and proposal software for VARs and MSPs. Quosal 2012 includes such enhancements as Visual Quoting, integration with web-based sales tax solutions, and features developed specifically for Quosal’s UK partners and customers.Quosal’s growth and R&D efforts have accelerated since ConnectWise Capital invested in the company earlier this year. The new Quosal 2012 release features:
Visual Quoting, which allows images to be imported into Quosal. The result: Customer quotes and proposals can be prepared by clicking on designated areas within the image. The capability extends to Quosal 2012 for the Apple iPad.
Integration with Avalara’s AvaTax web-based sales tax solutions. Quosal uses the integration for real-time sales tax jurisdiction assignment and tax calculation. AvaTax works with Quosal’s online quote delivery system, Order Porter. (Side note: The AvaTax integration is a premium service and requires an AvaTax subscription, Quosal says.)
Expanded integrations to ConnectWise, Microsoft CRM and Dynamics, Autotask and Salesforce.com.
Extensions of Quosal’s Etilize catalog integration for UK-based partners and customers.
Quosal continues to draw our attention because the company’s software also is available via Windows Azure, Microsoft’s platform as a service (PaaS) cloud.
Elsewhere in the PSA and sales quoting market, CommitCRM recently announced an integration to Quotewerks.
