Quosal for iPad Arrives in Apple App Store
Quosal, the product quoting tool for VARs and MSPs, has surfaced in Apple’s App Store for the iPad. The touch-enabled mobile app debuts two weeks after ConnectWise Capital invested in Quosal. Among those who are impressed: Tim Brewer, general manager for Western Australia at Anittel, a major managed services provider in the land down under.
According to Brewer: “[Quosal] just appeared on the App Store. It’s integrated with ConnectWise sales opportunities as well. We just rolled out Quosal to 52 staff and I’m impressed — but I never expected to see what I found in the iPad App.” Brewer calls it “big for sales leaders and staff members” — and potentially a solution that pushes beyond the traditional VAR and MSP industry. Quosal CEO Kent S. McNall also confirmed the Quosal for iPad app to me.
Quosal, also available as an on-premise or SaaS solution, helps VARs and MSPs to automate the quoting and sales proposal process. ConnectWise is a PSA (professional services automation) platform that allows VARs and MSPs to track consulting time, financial information, trouble tickets, marketing and more. Together, Quosal and ConnectWise potentially give partners a complete business management and product sourcing solution.
Still, I need to give equal time to QuoteWerks (a Quosal rival) and PSA players like Autotask and Tigerpaw Software. Next week I expect to catch up with QuoteWerks at Autotask Community Live. For the record: ConnectWise has vowed to keep its platform open to QuoteWerks, and Quosal has vowed to maintain integrations with Autotask and other third-party software.
