Synnex (SNX) used its Spring Varnex conference this week in Atlanta to unveil ECExpress 7.0, the latest version of the distributor’s eCommerce platform, designed to help North American resellers streamline the purchasing process and improve their reaction time to customer needs.
The platform features a new dashboard that will allow resellers to access their entire product search history and purchase information through a single pane of glass, with the ability to check Synnex inventory and pricing via improved search engine optimization, according to the announcement. Resellers also can confirm order status and look at product availability with a unified shopping cart across all of Synnex’s microsites.
Additionally, resellers can manage vendor product promotions and incentive programs through PROMOCentral, the distributor’s promotional management platform.
“Synnex always strives to streamline processes for our customers so they can focus on their businesses,” said Peter Larocque, president of Synnex’s North American Distribution, in a statement. “Our constant open communication lines with our customers have helped us identify how to make the ECExpress experience incredibly intuitive and easy to use so they reduce the time they spend on administration and spend more time selling.”
Senior Vice President of North American Marketing Bob Stegner previewed ECExpress 7.0 during the first day of Varnex, where several hundred of the distributor’s North American partners gathered to learn about the distributor’s channel programs and new sales opportunities.
ECExpress is expected to launch for a select group of Synnex “power users” in May, with general availability for the rest of the distributor’s reseller community later this year, according to the announcement.
