Technology Assurance Group (TAG), an international organization of independently owned telecommunication companies and an association sponsor of The Fall 2005 Channel Partners Conference & Expo, announces it has partnered with Great American Leasing Company, a privately held lease financing firm, to launch the Current Technology Assurance Plan (C-TAP).

The C-TAP program ensures the telecom and information systems of small and medium companies remain current, because it encourages companies to incorporate the latest in technology.

C-TAP is revolutionizing the manner in which telecom equipment, convergent applications such as VoIP, and connectivity infrastructure is being deployed in the marketplace, says Dale Stein, co-founder and director of strategic planning for TAG.

C-TAP gives companies the ability to refresh their phone equipment after 24 months without a change in payment. In addition, new equipment and applications are installed without labor charges. Technology can be added as needed within a fixed cost that can be absorbed by an organizations operating budget. Essentially, C-TAP allows continuing implementation of new technology within a set guideline, TAG says.

TAG member customers on the C-TAP program will receive benefits including five hours of national teleconferencing annually, call accounting analysis, storage system and backup, remote database backup, records and training updates for the equipment administrator, and an annual audit of connectivity charges.

They also receive special customer service provisions including priority queuing for adds, moves and changes; dispatch of service calls; a guarantee of inventory on hand; preferred maintenance; periodic replacement of handset and station cords and annual preventive maintenance visits.
