Vero Systems Provides Cost Savings for Alltel
March 1, 2007
Vero Systems Inc. has completed the first two phases of its least-cost traffic management program, which will reduce the voice cost of access and increase vendor performance for wireless provider Alltel.
The strategy combines the use of Vero Systems routing optimization software, Acuité, and the companys professional services. Vero Systems said its financial reporting capabilities and process improvements also have saved Alltel significant amounts of money.
Our solutions are transparent to retail customers, wholesale partners, and even most people inside the carriers themselves, yet they substantially reduce the cost of access for delivering voice services, said Brian Cafferty, CEO of Vero Systems. The financial and operational efficiency benefits are seen by the network and financial executive management.
Leo Perreault, senior vice president of network operations for Alltel, said implementing Veros solution has put Alltel in a position to negotiate more favorable contracts with our interconnect partners and continue to fine-tune our access cost structure.
