WTG Offers New Agents Expense-Paid Trips to Malibu
March 1, 2009
World Telecom Group (Booth 1607) is showcasing its wireless initiatives at this week’s Channel Partners Conference & Expo, and said that new agent partners that sign up with the master agent at the show need only to close $2,500 in sales to earn a free hotel night for WTG’s seventh annual “Tee and Sea” event on May 14-15 in Malibu, Calif.
The hotel night is only the first part; rewards earned via the annual PartnerPerks contest (covering sales through March 30), can go up to a fully expense-paid trip for two to Malibu. The two-day Tee and Sea event will include more than 20 of WTG’s top providers and is a good way to get to know WTG, the master agency notes.
“Tee and Sea is the ultimate way to build relationships,” said Vince Bradley, president and CEO at WTG. “We have found that talking business in a relaxed environment (on the tee or by the sea) is a great way to build business. ”
Bradley noted that WTG partners’ secret weapon in wireless at the moment is telecom expense management, or TEM. “We are excited to announce that we brought on our wireless secret weapon in Q4,” he said. “A 15-year veteran in wireless that formerly worked at Sprint, Tem Wu, joined the WTG wireless team and will work alongside our veteran wireless sales and product managers to create the most powerful wireless team of any wireline master agent with a wireless division.”
WTG has contracts with all the major players in wireless, Bradley added, and is a distributor for mobile bridges and routers. “You do not need to bring anything but the customer relationship, we can do the rest, if you like,” he said. “4G is here so it is time to get into wireless.”
Also, WTG is offering show attendees a chance to win a BlackBerry Pearl or a wireless router. Information is available at the company’s booth.
