BitTitan Launches Microsoft Azure Starter Kit to Help Drive New Revenue for IT Service Providers
Cloud services provider (CSP) BitTitan has released an Azure Starter Kit designed to help MSPs boost their revenues. BitTitan said the kit empowers MSPs to start selling Azure workloads without special training or certifications.
Acronis Updates Acronis True Image Cloud and 2016 Versions
Acronis has updated Acronis True Image Cloud and Acronis True Image 2016, which now include a simplified user interface and new cloud archiving functionality and performance capabilities. The backup and disaster recovery (BDR) software provider also noted True Image “provides complete data protection for computers, including pictures, videos, documents, applications, passwords, settings and the entire operating system.”
CTERA Unveils Server Data Protection for Enterprise CloudOps
CTERA has launched an in-cloud and cloud-to-cloud data protection solution that “allows enterprises to protect any number of servers across any cloud infrastructure.” The cloud storage software provider said its new release, CTERA Cloud Server Data Protection, enables users to manage thousands of cloud servers from a single console.
CloudEndure Raises $7 Million to Meet Disaster Recovery Demand
DR solutions provider CloudEndure has raised $7 million in a funding round led by Infosys and Magma Venture Partners. CloudEndure pointed out the funding will enable it to scale its marketing and sales efforts.
A new CloudLock report revealed only 5 percent of organizations “take active steps towards protecting credentials, which include attempts to identify instances of exposed credentials in public cloud environments.” The report, titled “Q4 Cloud Cybersecurity Report: “Riskiest Industries in the Cloud: Where Do You Stand?,” also indicated 83 percent of technology firms said excessive sharing in the cloud remains a top concern.
