Accenture Acquires Cloud Sherpas to Boost Cloud Consulting Chops
Accenture has reached an agreement to acquire cloud advisory company Cloud Sherpas. The cloud services giant said the Cloud Sherpas acquisition will further strengthen the company’s position in the enterprise cloud services market and allow it to provide customers “with unparalleled cloud strategy, technology consulting and cloud application implementation, integration and management services.”
Bomgar Improves Cloud Access Security for Privileged Users
Bomgar has upgraded its Privileged Access Management platform, which features additional cloud access control capabilities. The remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provider said its new release delivers “new capabilities for securing access within hybrid cloud environments, approving and auditing access activity and integrating with password management solutions.”

Trustwave has launched a cloud-based security platform to help businesses discover and address weaknesses and maintain compliance. The information security company said its new release, the Trustwave Secure Mobility Platform, “helps organizations with all aspects of secure mobility, from applications to data and all communication in between.”
CTERA Links with HP Hybrid Cloud Management Platform
CTERA Networks has announced an integration with the HP (HPQ) Cloud Service Automation (CSA) platform. The cloud storage enablement solutions provider noted the HP CSA integration allows organizations to manage their IT from a single service control point.
