Last month's Google Cloud outage lasted nearly 22 hours, according to Computer Business Review. The outage occurred due to "a minor update to the Compute Engine API inadvertently changed the case-sensitivity of the 'sessionAffinity' enum variable in the target pool definition, and this variation was not covered by testing," Google wrote in an incident report.
Apple reported a widespread iCloud outage in June that affected users in the United States, Canada and other countries. Also, a second iCloud outage occurred on May 20.
