ABRY Partners to Acquire Masergy Communications

An affiliate of ABRY Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm, has signed an agreement to acquire Masergy Communications, Inc., a global provider of managed, secure virtualized network services to enterprises.

In a press release last month, Masergy revealed it expected the transaction to close within 90 days.

Masergy said the acquisition would provide liquidity for its founding investors and brings on board an experienced equity partner as the company continues to grow.

The current management team will continue to manage the business with no operational changes.
