Axceler Offers ViewPoint Enterprise Dashboard into Enterprise Social Platforms

Collaboration governance, administration, and migration provider Axceler has introduced ViewPoint Enterprise, a single unified dashboard designed to provide orgaizations with views into their enterprise social networks, including Yammer, Jive (NASDAQ: JIVE), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) SharePoint, Box, and Chatter. Here are the details.

The dashboard builds on Axceler’s ViewPoint for SharePoint, announced in March, and designed to help administrators and business users understand how employees are using SharePoint. ViewPoint Enterprise is intended to take that further. Still in a “pre-release” stage, Axceler says Yammer is the first enterprise social network integration available. Others will be added when the solution goes to general availability, a company spokesperson told MSPmentor.

According to the company, Axceler’s ViewPoint Enterprise pre-release includes the following features:

“Businesses understand the value of collaboration platforms, but it’s proven very difficult to validate the investment and ensure user adoption,” said Axceler CEO Michael Alden in a prepared statement. “With the detailed insight our ViewPoint Enterprise solution provides, businesses can quickly view the company’s social collaboration activity and identify exactly what content and internal support is needed to improve and encourage collaboration adoption and engagement across the business.”

A free pre-release version, which currently supports Yammer, is now available on the company’s website. General availability will be available in September and will include Box, Jive and Chatter integrations.
